Robert Bergmann

Robert Bergmann has over a quarter century of award-winning experience bringing exceptional skills in architectural design and master planning to a broad range of projects in the Americas, Asia, Africa, and Europe. Robert received his architectural education at Oklahoma State University, and worked with an internationally renowned master/town planner at Klages Carter Vail and Partners for more than 20 years. As Principal Designer for AECOM Leisure Group, the hospitality division within the world’s largest multi-disciplinary A&E firm, Robert specialized in entertainment, institutional, and leisure destinations, serving major clients such as the Walt Disney Company, Landmark Entertainment, and Warner Brothers.

His extensive background and project experience includes the Kuala Lumpur City Centre (Malaysia), the Disney Vacation Club prototype (Orlando, FL), Mauna Kea Resort (South Kohala, HI), the St Regis Monarch Beach Resort (Dana Point, CA), and Warner Brothers Movie World (Madrid, Spain). Robert has led Visioneering’s efforts in providing design and development services for third world mission projects through his personal involvement in Nepal, Latvia, and Ghana.

Bruce Green, NCARB

Bruce Green has three decades of experience working internationally with the world's premier entertainment and commercial architectural and design firms including Walt Disney Imagineering, Universal Studios Creative, BRC Imagination Arts, Warner Brothers Recreation Group, HOK Sport, and HNTB. Prior to joining Visioneering as a Design Principal, Bruce served as a leading theme park designer with Green Hall Design, a firm he started with legendary themed entertainment designer, Robin Hall. Bruce completed his architecture degree at Cal Poly San Luis Obispo and currently holds architectural licenses in California, Colorado, Connecticut, Washington, South Carolina, Indiana, and Idaho.

His project experience spans continents and crosses typologies from the world’s largest indoor theme park (Knott’s Camp Snoopy at the Mall of America) to Universal Studios (where he designed the iconic Studio Gateway arch) and numerous sports venues. In his time with Visioneering Studios, Bruce has infused many faith-based community projects from California to New Hampshire with his passionate sense of ministry and destination design.

Mel McGowan

Mel McGowan leads the creative concept development, programming, master-planning, design, entitlement, and project management efforts of Visioneering Studios. Mel combined a unique background in film and a decade-long stint with the Walt Disney Company with experience in a private multi-disciplinary planning, design, and engineering consulting company in Southern California, where he designed and managed an enviable portfolio of projects for world-class resorts, institutional, retail, community, and mixed use projects. Notable project experience includes integrated retail, entertainment, and hospitality destination resorts, including the Disneyland Resort Hotels / Downtown Disney District, the Morongo, and Fantasy Springs casino resorts, and a ministry client roster of over 60 faith-based clients including Saddleback Church (Lake Forest, CA), Mariners Church (Irvine, CA), Dallas Christian College (Dallas, TX), and Southeast Christian Church (Louisville, KY).

Mel has emerged as a leading church designer and a unique voice in the call for Architectural Evangelism and the integration of sacred and secular space. Whether master planning a 2000 acre “new town” or scripting the guest experience of a 2000 seat worship venue, Mel approaches each endeavor with a passion for creativity, excellence, and “coloring outside the lines.”

He holds a Bachelor's Degree in Film from the University of California, and a Masters of Urban Planning from the College of Environmental Design at California Polytechnic University.
