Job Summary:
We are seeking a proactive, detail-oriented Project Manager with proven experience in the execution of signage, environmental graphics, wayfinding systems, and directional signage. This role is responsible for leading projects from concept through installation—managing timelines, budgets, vendors, and client expectations to ensure high-quality delivery that aligns with Enviropop’s standards and mission.
This position requires someone comfortable navigating the unique logistics and specifications of signage and graphics production—including material selection, permitting, fabrication, site coordination, and vendor management. The ideal candidate understands how to translate creative intent into well-coordinated, technically sound solutions while ensuring seamless collaboration with design and construction teams. A forward-thinking mindset and curiosity around emerging design tools, materials, and systems is essential to help Enviropop stay at the forefront of the industry.
Responsibilities:
Project Planning & Management
- Manage the full lifecycle of signage and environmental graphics projects—from kickoff to installation and final punch.
- Translate creative intent into actionable plans, drawings, and production specifications in collaboration with designers and fabricators.
- Develop and maintain detailed project schedules, deliverables lists, and budgets specific to signage and wayfinding rollouts.
Collaboration with Design & Construction Teams
- Work closely with architects, interior designers, engineers, and general contractors to align environmental graphics with spatial planning and construction sequencing.
- Participate in design charrettes, construction meetings, and site visits to ensure coordinated execution.
- Read and interpret architectural plans, elevations, reflected ceiling plans, and construction details to confirm signage is integrated accurately and complements the built environment.
Vendor & Fabrication Coordination
- Research, select, and manage signage fabricators, installers, and specialty vendors; oversee quality assurance during production.
- Request and review shop drawings, proofs, samples, and material specifications.
- Schedule and manage on-site surveys, permitting, installation timelines, and closeout procedures.
Client & Team Communication
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients throughout the project, delivering clear communication and white-glove service.
- Coordinate internal and external meetings including design reviews, fabrication approvals, and site walkthroughs.
- Provide ongoing project updates through task-tracking software and weekly status reports.
Technical & Administrative Oversight
- Prepare and manage contracts, change orders, RFIs, submittals, and invoices.
- Collect and track W-9s, Certificates of Insurance (COIs), and vendor documentation.
- Assist in site-specific logistics such as compliance requirements, installation access, and field coordination.
Research & Innovation
- Stay up-to-date on trends in environmental graphic design, digital display technologies, materials innovation, and sustainability.
- Explore new tools, fabrication methods, and software to expand the studio’s creative and operational capabilities.
- Actively contribute to improving Enviropop’s internal processes, project standards, and documentation systems.
Qualifications:
- Four-year college degree from an accredited institution.
- 3–5 years of experience in project management (preferably in signage, environmental graphics, architectural branding, or related disciplines).
- Familiarity with construction processes, architectural documentation, and spatial coordination.
- Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and coordinate external vendors and fabricators.
- Proficiency in project management tools and task-tracking platforms.
- Exceptional communication and organizational skills with a proactive, problem-solving mindset
