Reaching Above

What began as a small, church plant quickly became a thriving congregation in need of clearer flow, more space, and a welcoming identity that reflected the vibrant, coastal heartbeat of Cocoa Beach.

The Opportunity

A small church plant rapidly outgrew its school-venue beginnings and then acquired a prime downtown Cocoa Beach bank building. But the 100-seat auditorium and updated offices were quickly outgrown, and leftover drive-through teller lanes limited both growth and ministry momentum.

The Vision

With the heart of “Reaching Above,” Visioneering created a long-term master plan that reimagined the entire site introducing a future 400 seat worship center, removing existing bank teller lanes and maximiz parking, and a refreshed identity that reflected the coastal community.

The Execution

Visioneering renovated 4,600 SF to create a first-step to a 200 seat auditorium, expand lobby space, modernize interiors, and refresh the exterior to reflect the church’s brand. Outside, the building teller lanes and canopies were removed to maximize parking for Sundays and weekday beach-parking revenue. A new north-facing porch and balcony were added, creating an inviting gathering space with views toward Cape Canaveral’s rocket launches.
